Indoor Air Quality Screening

Have you recently prepared a nursery, bought new furniture, renovated a room or noticed that asthma, headaches or breathing irritation seem worse indoors? New materials and household products can release VOCs and formaldehyde into the air, while poor ventilation may allow them to build up.

This assessment screens indoor VOC and formaldehyde levels, with supporting temperature and humidity measurements where relevant. It is particularly suited to homes with babies, children, individuals with asthma, older adults or anyone with a sensitive respiratory system.

Water Quality Screening

Have you moved into an older property, noticed unusual taste, staining, limescale or poor water pressure, or are you unsure about the condition of the plumbing or boiler?

This screening uses TDS measurement and test strips for pH, hardness, chlorine, nitrate and nitrite to highlight conditions that may contribute to limescale, corrosion, boiler inefficiency or other plumbing concerns. It is especially useful for new homeowners deciding whether further maintenance, testing or upgrades may be needed.

This is not a full laboratory analysis and cannot confirm lead, bacteria or every chemical contaminant. Professional laboratory testing is available as an optional add-on where further investigation is recommended.

Mould and Moisture Assessment

Have you received an expensive mould remediation quote, noticed recurring mould or damp, or are you unsure whether major repair work is really necessary?

This independent assessment uses visual inspection, thermal imaging and non-contact moisture measurements to help identify likely causes such as condensation, poor ventilation, cold bridging or hidden moisture. It is especially useful as a second opinion before committing to costly treatment or building work.

The assessment does not include mould removal or repairs. Instead, it provides a clear explanation of the findings and practical recommendations, helping you understand which actions are genuinely needed and which may be unnecessary.
